Early 1970s steel Datejust model 1601(4), silver dial. This has one of the very first style, open link Jubilee bracelets often seen on Rolexes sold in the USA. This early version of the model does NOT have a facility to change the date quickly, but does have the white metal bezel which still features on a comparable Datejust model in today's catalogues - priced £2,980!
