It is surprising to see the papers dated 2006 when this is a P42xxxx case number watch, probably made in the year 2000, but Rolex agents sometimes did hold special pieces back for their biggest clients etc. A new steel Daytona today costs £7,950 if you can find one, while many dealers still ask over list price for them.
